Another great issue. In “Nothing But the Sky” by Gwendolyn Clare, a vivid world of floating cities and airships and friendly dragon-like pterathers waits to be explored, and I would love to see even more stories set here. The adventure and fairy tale moments made my heart soar. The world of “Blood Reckonings” by Alec Austin was a little more difficult for me to imagine, only because I had to look up many of the words used to describe the setting, but the characters and their search for an object of great power were so engaging. This is another world that begs further stories set there.
